In the past 24 hours up to 830 am today, Mumbai received varying amounts of rainfall. Colaba recorded 712 mm while Santacruz saw 1763 mm. This has led to waterlogging in parts of the city, but local trains have continued to operate.
As a precautionary measure, around 100 people were evacuated after a landslide in Ghatkopar. The city has received a total of 19939 mm of rainfall so far, which is 90% of the average rainfall of 2205 mm.
