Cecilia Moreau, the new president of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies, comes from a political family with strong radical roots. Her father, Leopoldo Moreau, was a prominent member of the Radical Civic Union (UCR), and her brother, Leandro Santoro, is a current national deputy for the Frente de Todos coalition.

A Political Protégé

Cecilia Moreau's political career began as a political advisor to her father. She later served as a member of the Buenos Aires City Legislature and the National Congress. Moreau has also been involved in numerous human rights organizations and is known for her advocacy work on issues such as violence against women and LGBTQ+ rights.
