Pelicans Dominate from Start to Finish
The New Orleans Pelicans put on a dominant performance on December 4, 2023, defeating the Sacramento Kings 133-100 at the Smoothie King Center. CJ McCollum led the Pelicans with 30 points, making seven three-pointers. Brandon Ingram added 28 points and 11 rebounds, while Jonas Valanciunas contributed 18 points and 14 rebounds.
The Pelicans took control of the game early and never looked back. They led by 25 points at halftime and extended their lead to 50 points in the second half. The Kings simply could not keep up with the Pelicans' offensive firepower.
De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 24 points, but he was the only Sacramento player to score in double figures. The Kings shot just 38.5% from the field and made only 10 three-pointers.
The Pelicans' victory improved their record to 22-14 on the season. They are now in sole possession of fifth place in the Western Conference.
